Cubs meet on a Thursday at 7pm to 8:15pm
A Cub Scout Pack can have up to 36 Cub Scouts and is split into smaller groups called Sixes. Cubs take part in a wide range of activities designed to be interesting and challenging. A Cub Scout meeting consists of games and activities with plenty of time spent outdoors. Cubs caters for the age range 8 to 10 1/2
During the Spring/Summer months we take full advantage of the fabulous facility available at Queen Charlotte's Wood for Wide Games, campfires and other outdoor activity, with our annual Summer Camp also running at Queen Charlotte's during July.
With the shorter days over the Winter period meeting tend to be at the Scout HQ, with focus on Games, Craft activities and learning new skills such as map reading and first aid....but that's not stopped us getting out on Night Hikes or trips to Laserquest
We've recently run trips to Manley Mere (watersports) Manchester Airport Viewing Park, biking in Delamere, Swimming, night hiking and the Kingsley Player's Pantomime, and had Airline Pilots, Police, Ambulance and (Widnes) Vikings in to share their knowledge and experiences with Kingsley Cubs!
